POD CANDLEHOLDERS

The POD candleholders are a series of solid resin pieces designed by Vincent de Rijk for PIN–UP HOME. The circular forms are inspired by shapes De Rijk observes from his studio overlooking the Rotterdam port. The PODs are produced in five colors: Cloud White, Dawn Pink, Mist Green, Sun Yellow, and Wave Blue. Each POD is individually cast in industrial resin with a metal insert for stability. All units are engraved with the PIN–UP HOME mark on the underside.

ABOUT VINCENT DE RIJK

Vincent de Rijk is a Dutch designer and architectural model maker known for his material experimentation and precision manufacturing. A graduate of the Design Academy Eindhoven, he founded his studio in Rotterdam, producing architectural models, prototypes, and resin objects. Since the 1990s, he has collaborated extensively with firms such as OMA and MVRDV. The POD candleholder is his first project for PIN–UP HOME.

The POD is sold only in pairs. Each box contains two candleholders in the same color.
